The program of Future Team set on March 15 was aimed at creation of particular mechanisms of interaction and elaboration of final movement development plan.
During the day young people from different countries presented their projects on the thematic platform to share experience and find people with the same views.
On the final session participants presented the resolution. In their view, the mission of Future Team is to build up a global community of active young people striving to develop their country, region and world. While working on the resolution young people thought about a number of projects, including establishment of an academy of leadership and development of interactive education system.
The highlight of official program was the meeting with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Russia – Sergey Lavrov. Representatives from Syria, Latvia, Ukraine and other countries had an opportunity to ask questions that interested them. Among other things, participants brought up subject of international volunteer work, relationships between Russia and Mexico, humanitarian missions and reaction on the statements of the UK Prime Minister Theresa May. A participant from Syria Azzam Hamat gave his personal thanks for the rescue operation in his country to Russian Foreign Minister.
Sergey Lavrov marked that Russia holds diplomatic position in global affairs and sees perspectives in interaction with such organizations as SCO, BRICS and ASEAN.
The program concluded with commemoration where the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin addressed to all the participants of the Forum «Russia – Land of Opportunity».
«You all have one thing in common, a thing that brings you together – you are talented, active, interesting, wonderful people, – said Vladimir Putin. – We’ve got many people of that kind, and our country is interested in success of every single one of you because this is what builds up the success of whole Russia».
Tomorrow representatives or Future Team will go to 14 different Russian cities to participate in the regional program (Vladimir, Volgograd, Yekaterinburg, Irkutsk, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Kursk, Nizhniy Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Saint-Petersburg, Sevastopol and Sochi).
